Preseason - FC Barcelona 2008/09

After 8 weeks of no training, Barca’s players ( 15 first team players and seven from Barca B sqad) have come back this week to start preseason 2008/09.
The main goal of the preseason programme is to make sure the team is in good shape for the Champions League qualifying round.
Some Barca players will be coming back over the next few days.
On Monday, July 14 This players will be available at Pep Guardiola: Valdés, Henry, Márquez, Jorquera, Oleguer, Sylvinho, Bojan, Milito, Abidal, Gudjohnsen, Touré, Pinto, Piqué, Cáceres, Marc Crosas. Other player will join soon, at July 15 - Messi, July 19 - Keita, Alves, Eto’o, Wednesday, July 23 - Xavi, Puyol, Iniesta.

Real Madrid C.F - Pre-Season 2008/2009

On July 14 Real Madrid C.F will regroup for 5 days in Portugal. Real Madrid will return to Irdning, Austria for the most strenuous part of the pre-season; ten days (21-31 July) of a strict training regimen during which the internationals will progressively return from vacation after being eliminated from the Euro. Only those who make the final or are participating in the Olympics will miss the beautiful Austrian scenery.
In August team will fly to London for Arsenals Emirates Cup. In tournament will  play Juventus, Hamburg and Gunners.
The Whites will be back in the Spanish capital on 4 and 5 August, but the following day are booked on a flight to Colombia to play Independiente Santa Fe on 7 August in Bogota. The team will return home until 10 August, when they again leave Madrid for Germany.
Before the Spanish Super Cup, Madrid are scheduled to visit Eintracht Frankfurt on 12 August at the Commerzbank-Arena in what will be a rematch of the fifth European Cup title won by the Madridistas. During the last two weeks leading up to the start of La Liga, the Whites have a tie against Valencia for the first title of the season. Final test for this pre-season is Santiago Bernabéu Trophy played at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium on 27 August. This year Real Madrid will play against porting Club Portugal, who just celebrated their centenary last season.
